Last One Out Policy

Policy and Procedure for Locking Interlock

Please consider the following if you are the last keyed member to leave the space.

General Awareness

  • All lights are off, including floor and desk lamps
  • Soldering iron is off
  • Fridge is closed
  • All box fans are off
  • Nothing is on fire

Door

  • Both the top and bottom locks on the passive door should be engaged
  • Double-check to make sure the door handle is locked
  • Make sure door is latched behind you, and triple-check that the handle is locked
