Toronto mini Maker Faire
shardy, of site 3 and hacklab.to, wanted to make sure we knew that http://makerfairetoronto.ca was happening May 7th and 8th. Five hackerspaces are already on board. If we want to take part, we're welcome. shardy has a contact in Syracuse but hasn't been able to get in touch with the Buffalo group yet.
Biodiesel
Took some photos to accompany the eventual blog post.
Serendipitously made a local contact with education ties. A tour of a facility this summer (July?) may be in the works.
Re-iterating my previous call for interest. Joe, Bill, Steve and friend-of-Von are my current list. If you know someone who may be interested, I need to be able to contact them to work out scheduling.

Wayne and I joined Beardicus and our guest at the space for a while. We're doing OK by hackerspace standards, we all agree. Then, en route to the showing Wayne and I went to pick up food and got to see Rochester EMTs in action. Tensely interesting.
Misc
I like the space so much that I want to make sure people, especially new members anxious to try out their codes and keys, can get there
